Bolt - On the midfield, Arsene!

Yes, yes the new Arsenal guy have been rather quiet. No surprise. It’s because we lost. Well that’s because I’m not in a position to comment as I turned off the TV in disgust after the second goal went in…(Play Pro Evo Soccer 5 with S-Kay also better…)

But what I can say is this. We need a midfielder. Gilberto and Flamini will NEVER cut it no matter how neat and tidy their play is. My cousin playing centreback for our futsal team is also neat and tidy.

We need a match-winner. We need someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck, and unfortunately, none of our midfielders can do that just yet. Cesc probably will in a couple of years but right now his consistency is reflecting that of what he is. An 18 year old. No fault of his. Lets just hope he stays on with Arsenal when his skills are well developed already...

If only Arsene Wenger reads this blog. If somehow or rather he does…Well then…

PLEASE SIGN US A WORLD CLASS MIDFIELDER, MONSEUR WENGER!!! GATTUSO WOULD BE NICE! MERCI! Mourinho better not be reading this blog or else he might even take Gattuso away.

…Signing Roy Keane should be effectively ruled out. I did say World Class, didn't I? ;P

You could always try and get ... Michael Ballack!? :P

FOR THE LASST TIME.....Micheal Ballack isn't a goddamn defensive midfielder!

To sign players require money, and Arsenal's transfer budget is probably as big (read: tiny) as Villa's right now.

mwahahahaha

Ballack started out as a defensive midfielder. Same as Steven Gerrard. Only now, benitez is playing SG on a more forward role. WHICH IS WHY, England's midfield sucks, as SG competes with Lamps on the field. SG should just stick to his more familiar position as DMC roaming forward instead of trying to do an AMC's job. :)

I have to agree with Vincent that Michael Ballack is an Attacking Midfielder.

Ghoul, you've been playing Champ Manager for a long time haven't you?

the problem with the midfield area we dont have anyone who can win the ball, (ie - we dont have a patrick vieira anymore) and Gilberto isnt even close to Viera material...what we need is a solid DMC, we have enough attacking midfielders - Ljungberg, Pires, Reyes, Hleb (injured though), what we really need is a Claude Makelele type of a player - a tenacious midfielder...

and s-kay, have patience with Wenger, he's one of the shrewdest managers in the EPL I believe, and I'm sure in the Jan transfer we'll get someone :)

actually tigerjoe we do have enough finances, of course we dont have YOUR kind of money, but the sale from Vieira and plus some balance, we AT least have around 15 Million I believe...and s-kay...no need to be so geram lar...after all Chelsea actually did BUY the title didn't they? ;)

I agree with Ghoul...SG ought to play a more central-defensive midfield position like how he used to play before...he isnt THAT effective as an AMC
