In other news, Togo being banned from the African Cup for 6 (?) years because they were shot by rebels is sooo wrong. They need a Sepp Blatter in their midst.

Actually, Togo were banned because of government interference.
After the shootings, the players wanted to leave...but a few days later, they changed their minds and wanted to play. However, their government ordered them not to and forced them to pull out.
